The Design Museum is situated right on the river Thames close to the Tower of London. The Museum supports and promotes designers and architects from all over the world who have led the field in contemporary design.
Field Statement
As part of the Creative Practice Module in the university we went to London Design Museum to see the works of designers exploring their designs with Swarovski Crystals.
The exhibition showcase the works of 15 unique designers best known talents in the world of designs.
Every Artist explain their designs through recorded speech.
Ephemera by Ron Arad
The beautiful installation by Israeli Industrial designer Ron Arad "Lolita" . It is a Chandelier designed by Arad in 2004. We can send message from anywhere in the world by tweeting using #digitalcrystal or texting +44(0)7860 021492 and the message will appear on the crystals of Lolita. The text travels around the LEDs hidden in the crystals.

The movement of light in circular motion by Phillippe Molouin.
Laser light hitting through the suspended crystal and we can see the beautiful scattered light by Paul Cocksedge.
It is an inspiring works by the designers.
